When we first connected with the team at Discover Gloucester, their frustration was clear. Since 2017, several leadership shifts had left them with a digital “patchwork” quilt—think broken links, outdated pages, and back-end tools that were more of a mystery than a resource. With the busy summer season approaching, they were ready for a big marketing push but had no functional home base to guide their new leads.

The goal was simple: make the site effortless for everyone. For visitors, the front end needed to be intuitive; for the staff, the back end needed to be manageable. We built a system that allows their team to update content and manage partner lists without ever touching a line of code.
One standout feature was our custom template system for partner listings. By creating a simple form-based workflow, we ensured that every new listing is consistent and on-brand, automatically.

To celebrate the unique character of Gloucester’s neighborhoods, we collaborated with Karen Conant of 6 Meadow Creative. She crafted a custom, illustrated map that highlights key features and helps tourists feel like locals from the moment they land on the page.
